KULL 1 ("we," "us," or "our") operates the KULL 1 tournament fishing platform, including our website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you when you use the Platform.
By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree to this policy, do not use the Platform.
Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, username, and password. Tournament Directors also provide legal business name, tax identification information (EIN or SSN), and banking details for payment processing.
Tournament and Catch Data. We collect information you submit during tournaments, including fish photographs, length measurements, GPS coordinates at time of submission, and timestamps.
Location Information. Catch submissions require location access to verify catches are submitted from valid water locations. We collect GPS coordinates at the moment of catch submission and do not continuously track your location.
Payment Information. Entry fees and payout banking information are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. We do not store full credit card numbers, bank account numbers, or routing numbers on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of your payment data.
Usage Data. We automatically collect information about how you use the Platform, including pages visited, features used, time spent, and device information (type, operating system, browser).
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
Public Tournament Data. Tournament results, leaderboards, and catch records are public by design. Your name and tournament performance are visible to other anglers and the general public on the Platform.
Tournament Directors. If you register for a tournament, the Tournament Director of that event can see your registration information (name, contact details) for event management purposes.
Service Providers. We share data with third-party service providers who assist in operating the Platform, including Stripe (payments), cloud hosting providers, and analytics services. These providers are contractually bound to protect your information.
Legal Requirements. We may disclose information when required by law, including IRS reporting obligations, court orders, or to protect the rights and safety of KULL 1 and its users.
We retain account information and tournament records for as long as your account is active. Tournament results and catch records are retained indefinitely as part of the permanent angler record that is core to the Platform's value. You may request deletion of your account, subject to legal retention requirements for tax and financial records.
We use industry-standard security practices including 256-bit SSL encryption, secure data storage, and access controls. Sensitive financial and tax information is handled by PCI-DSS compliant payment processors. However, no method of internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Platform is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us at privacy@kull1.com and we will delete it promptly.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information; to opt out of certain data processing; and to receive a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@kull1.com.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use after the effective date of the updated policy constitutes acceptance of the changes.
